Anne Frank Remembered JE #2

  • Miep was having a strong compassion for Henk to the extent possibly getting married.
  • The Radio and the newspaper was the only source of information Jews were receiving.
  • Miep was very lucky throught the marriage process, many times she could have been caught and deported.
  • The discrimination against Jews was becoming a struggle for both the Frank family and Miep.
  • Even with the silence in the room, Miep could sense the feelings and emotions the Frank family was experiencing when they went into hiding.

4 Questions:

  • Why did everything happen at once, the bad news however luckiness?
  • How were Jew supposed to transport themselves? Not everthing required feet.
  • If America was on the Jews side, why didn't they help them fight against Hitler?
  • Was Mr. Frank expecting to one day go into hiding? Reason for already having the secret door room.

Anne Frank Remembered JE #1

  • She was adopted and never lived with her biological parents.
  • This book is from the lady who helped the Frank family go into hiding.
  • Miss Heel was very rude and jealous of Miep.
  • Hitler was a man who was not only agaisnt Jews but those who were not Germans.
  • Miep's Saturday trips to the theater was like our modern day trips to the movies.

  • Wasn't it a hard thing for her biological parents to just give her up at such a young age?
  • Was she in love with the man that she previously worked with or the man she currently worked with?
  • When does the Frank Family go into hiding?
  • Why is Margot always explained as being pretty more than Anne is? What is it trying to imply?
