- Miep was having a strong compassion for Henk to the extent possibly getting married.
- The Radio and the newspaper was the only source of information Jews were receiving.
- Miep was very lucky throught the marriage process, many times she could have been caught and deported.
- The discrimination against Jews was becoming a struggle for both the Frank family and Miep.
- Even with the silence in the room, Miep could sense the feelings and emotions the Frank family was experiencing when they went into hiding.
